Dolly pleases her supporters
Lolly For Dolly proved the most appropriately named winner one is likely to see when justifying support from 6/1 this morning into 7/4 by impressively landing the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden by seven lengths.
The daughter of Oratorio led about two furlongs out under Wayne Lordan (his fifth winner of the campaign) and she quickened well in the final furlong to see off Anaverna in great style.
Winning handler Tommy Stack (the clear leading trainer with 7-winners this season) said: "Her owner, David Keoghan ran in a 400 metres at the Olympics. She's a nice filly, we didn't know how she'd go on the ground but she obviously went through it. We hope that she'll make into a stakes filly."
