Doc Hollywood and Keith Donoghue

The Gillian Callaghan trained Doc Hollywood defied top weight and a 6lbs rise for a recent Thurles win with another in the Special Offers @ Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse today.
Ridden by Keith Donoghue, the son of Robertico moved to the front at the second last and stayed on well from the last to hold off the renewed challenge of Blazing Sonnet
Afterwards Callaghan stated “I was a little bit concerned about the ground but he is an improving horse and something to look forward to. He is a chaser in the making and he has plenty of scope.
“When he gets to the front he tends to idle a bit.”
