Dock gets home in bunch finish
Copper Dock emerged on top from a bunch finish to the six furlong handicap at Dundalk.
Ben Curtis produced his mount inside the final furlong and he just held the late charge of Mountain Coral by the narrowest of margins.
"He was due it this year. He got 10lb early in the year and struggled a bit after but he loves it here," said trainer Tom McCourt.
"He needs thing to go his way. I thought he was running too free and was worried as it's as keen as I've seen him for a long time, but he stuck it out well.
"There is a similar handicap for him on Wednesday week. He's in great old form and as long as there is something for him we'll keep him going."
