Placed on her previous two starts over hurdles, the Gordon Elliott /a>-trained Disco Dancer (7/2) had all the right moves in the maiden hurdle for five-year-olds and upwards.
Owned by Mrs Caren Walsh and Dee L'Estrange, the daughter of Snow Sky came through to join odds-on favourite Sionnach Ele two out and went on before the last to account for that rival by two and a quarter lengths.
Winning rider Sam Ewing said: "She’s very straightforward and has probably been a bit unlucky not to win (over hurdles) before today.
“She has plenty of speed and won a bumper at Down Royal a few months ago.
“She’s fairly versatile between two miles and two and a half and her jumping is a big asset as well.”
