Dirar has Galway Hurdle plan
Dirar is being aimed at the Galway Hurdle following victory in the John Joseph Burke Memorial Handicap Hurdle at Listowel.
Paul Carberry hit the front before the second last on the King's Best gelding and he saw off the challenge of Banna Man to record a length-and-three-quarters success.
"He's one of the toughest horses I have in training and if he was a hand bigger I wouldn't have him as he would have made a lot of money," said trainer Gordon Elliott.
"Hopefully he'll go to Ayr for another handicap hurdle on June 18th and then hopefully run in the Galway Hurdle."
