Delphinia justified strong support to land the fillies' maiden in Galway with Donnacha O'Brien in the plate.
From as big as 6/1 this morning she was backed down to 11/4 favourite while her stablemate, Flowering Peach drifted from 10/11 in the morning out to 3/1 on the off (finished 11th).
Aidan O'Brien 's Galileo filly challenged and led turning for home but was strongly pressed by newcomer Kiss For A Jewel (6/1) in the final furlong.
Delphinia was strongest in the closing stages, though, as she beat her rival into second by half a length. Lottieloveheart completed the placings a further five and a half lengths away in third at 5/1 from 13/2.
Donnacha O'Brien said: "She liked the ground and stayed well. It took a while to find a race with stamina in it but staying is her forte.
"Maybe she was (under the weather in August) but she had two runs coming here so had a bit of experience."
Delphinia got off the mark on her third start after unplaced efforts in Leopardstown and the Curragh.
