Back Before Dawn made light work of her rivals in the Molony Cup Handicap Chase, scoring under Conor Brassil for Sandra Hughes.
Making her debut in handicap company, the daughter of Oscar was available at 25/1 last night, but went off at just 10's.
Settled behind the leaders, she travelled well in third after three out, and got to the front after the next. She soon stretched clear, and was eased down close home, coming home seven and a half lengths to the good. Garrai Phaidin and Mick The Jiver were sent off the 5/1 joint-favourites and they finished second and third respectively, with a length separating them at the line.
The consistent Capture The Drama was another length and a half back in fourth, after he attempted to make all.
Sandra Hughes said afterwards: "She has been jumping very well but is very ground dependant. She can't go on good or on heavy but has a great leap for a small mare.
"We'll step her up now and aim for something nice at Christmas and hopefully she can win another. She loves a trip."
