Davy Russell update
Davy Russell fractured a leg in a fall from Mister Two Fifty in the Kevin McManus Beginners Steeplechase at Listowel.
Dr. Patricia Houlihan reported afterwards at the track that Russell had injuries to the right of side of his chest, his right upper limb and right upper back.
However a fractured tibia was later confirmed after x-rays at Tralee Hospital where the rider is said to be in a stable condition.
The Co. Kerry course has not proved a lucky one for the Youghal jockey this year as he also broke an ankle in a fall there in June.
