Dane gets Sammy off the mark
Ten pound claimer Samantha Bell partnered her first winner on just her third ride as Celtic Dane emerged victorious after a desperate conclusion to the Follow Leopardstown on Facebook Handicap.
Bringing up a double for trainer Kevin Prendergast after the earlier win of Dunboyne Express admirable performer Celtic Dane ultimately short-headed favourite Gimli's Rock with several close up in behind including Fammi Sognare and Park Ranger (he had looked sure to score at one stage).
'Sammy' Bell is from Northern Ireland and she is with the Kevin Prendergast yard for two years. Prendergast described her as "a great worker" and she was placed on Humor Me Rene previously.
