Dancer gets it right
Rambling Dancer gained a deserved success when running out a convincing winner of the rated race at Dundalk for Curragh trainer Valerie Keatley.
Shane Gorey produced the 11/2 favourite to lead over a furlong from home and he stayed on well to record a two-and-a-half length victory over Whiteball Wonder
The winner had been placed five times this season, having won at the course last November.
"We've been a long time waiting on that. He was knocking on the door," said part-owner Paddy O'Brien, who is Dermot Weld's travelling head lad.
"Every time he ran he was second nearly! He went up 17lb without winning so it was hard on him.
"It's great to get his head in front. He deserves that."
