Dali could have Royal Ascot on his agenda after giving Aidan O'Brien his first juvenile winner of the season in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race at Naas this afternoon.
Ryan Moore made all on the 4/6 shot and he kept on well in the closing stages to record a length victory.
Kevin Prendergast 's newcomer Hawaam shaped with plenty of promise in second.
Dali was making his second racecourse appearance having finish runner-up on his debut at Dundalk last month.
“You'd be delighted with that. He came forward from his first run and he'll come forward again,” said O'Brien.
“Ryan liked him and we'll hopefully get another run into him.
“I think five or six suits him, he has plenty of speed, when he learns what he's at. He was still swapping and changing a good bit so he still doesn't really know. He would have learned plenty today.
When asked if he could be an Ascot horse O'Brien added:- “He could be and you'd like to get another run into him before that.”
The winner was given a 16/1 quote for the Coventry Stakes by Paddy Power.
