John 'Shark' Hanlon reports Hidden Cyclone to be on top of his game for the Boylesports Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown on Sunday.

The County Carlow handler is optimistic his stable star can take his revenge on Twinlight. The Willie Mullins-trained eight-year-old had his measure by four and three-quarter lengths in the Dial-A-Bet Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas but now has an 8lb Grade One penalty.

That race provided Hidden Cyclone with a welcome clear round after falling in his two previous starts.

"He's in great form and the race suits him," said Hanlon.

"We have to take Twinlight on again but we're 8lb better off from last time, so please God we can collect. He's ready to go."

Hidden Cyclone will be heading to the Cheltenham Festival after this run and Hanlon revealed he is leaning towards the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase rather than the Ryanair Chase in which he was second last March, although that has yet to be decided.

He said: "We'll decide after Sunday where we are going to go at Cheltenham. We're looking at the Queen Mother, but we haven't made our mind up yet."

The Sandra Hughes-trained Bright New Dawn, who was fourth in the Dial-A-Bet, renews rivalry while Days Hotel, Heavenly Brook and Irish Thistle make up the sextet.
