Cycladic stretches clear

Jessica Harrington's Cycladic the 1/8 favourite, turned the extended mile and a half fillies' maiden at Bellewstown into a procession.
She was tanking along in fourth at the highest point of the track and readily moved onto the shoulder of Easily with less than two furlongs to go.
Shane Foley sent her on and Easily was hard at work in second with no answers forthcoming.
The 'jolly' was merely pushed out to assert in the final furlong and won as she pleased by six and a half lengths. Easily plugged on for a clear second at 7/2.
Foley said: “She was entitled to do that. I think she has bumped into some nice fillies and we just came here to get her maiden win.
“She can probably contest a little black-type race somewhere. She gave me a good feel and felt like a filly rated 90 (89).
“I think she'll improve from that, it'll do her confidence the world of good.”
Cycladic had been placed in three maidens and was also fifth in Listed company.
