Dean Curran's decision to stay on the far side reaped rewards as he landed the finale at Gowran tonight aboard You Owe Me Money
Darren Bunyan 's charge was held up in mid-division before switching out away from her rivals a furlong-and-a-half from home.
The 5/1 shot hit the front over a furlong from home and stayed on well in the closing stages to post a three-parts-of-a-length win over Shona Mea
You Owe Me Money was recording her first win at the 19th attempt having been placed on six occasions previously.
Bunyan said:- “It’s great to see that filly getting a bit of luck today and I’m delighted for Ger (O’Leary, owner).
“I thought she was an unlucky loser (when third) in Cork the last day. Dean gave her a great ride and everything went to plan.
“There are plenty of options for her once there is a little ease in the ground.”
