Curley at his Leisure - late legend breeds Dundalk winner
Chazzesmee wins easily

Curley Leisure-bred Chazzesmee might have benefitted from some divine intervention this evening as he justified strong 6/4 favouritism, for an easy win in Dundalk's concluding Join On Instagram Handicap.
Five year old Chazzesmee is closely related to Eye Of The Tiger, which formed part of breeder Barney Curley's final spectacular and successful coup of 2014, before the God-like punting figure's passing in May 2021.
Chazzesmee had failed to land a sizeable gamble at the venue in October 2021, when pulling up injured leaving the stalls, but today got-in as first reserve, opening 3/1 this morning before winning by five lengths.
Regular jockey Mark Enright, completing a double, reported “obviously he got hurt up here last year so it was a worry but his comeback run in the Curragh was very good.
“He was a bit keen at the Curragh and probably didn't get home that day.
"This was a very poor race, but he was fit and ready to go. Fozzy (Stack, winning trainer) always has his horses fit. It is nice to ride a winner in Mrs Stack and Tommy's (Stack) colours."
