Cullen records double
John Cullen recorded a double this afternoon after winning aboard the gambled on Bohemian Lass (10/1 in the morning down to 9/2), trained by Bill Harney and owned by the jockeys parents in-law Riona and Pierce Malony.
Winning owner Pierce Molony said afterwards, "The main target will now be to go for the Coolmore sponsored mares race at Thurles on January 29, she may have a run in Limerick or Thurles beforehand. I'm delighted with that and she's only a 5 year old so she should improve from the run."
Easy to back 7/4 favourite Pomme Tiepy proved no threat inside the final half mile finishing eighth, and was found to be lame post-race.
Cullen's earlier winner came aboard Fortune Seeker when winning the first race on the card.
