Cullen Strikes Again
Fresh from his big success with Bella Mana Mou at Navan in the middle of the month, New Ross, Co. Wexford handler, Michael Cullen struck again with Annual Report in the Clonoulty Handicap Hurdle.
Always handy under Niall 'Slippers' Madden, sporting the American Jennie silks which were carried to success at the 2007 Punchestown Festival, Annual Report jinked left on the run-in but he went on to account for Tooman Lane by a clear two and a half lengths.
Cullen said: "It must have been due to the better ground because he surprised me there. He had a few goodish runs in bumpers and he'll go for another handicap now."
Money horses, Keats Dream (12s to 6s) could manage only seventh whilst big morning mover Our Local Scan (12s into 7/2) pulled up after two out. (EM)
