Shane Crosse is banging in the winners at present and moved to the top of the Jockeys' Winter Series at Dundalk tonight, as the Champion Apprentice partnered another double, when landing the Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Handicap (div 1) on Ahundrednotout
Crosse steered no less than 11 winners in October to help secure his Championship success, and today was bagging his second double at the venue this week, as he steered the Johnny Feane trained Ahundrednotout to a neck win over Jackmel
Ahundrednotout's trainer Feane had his hands full in the winners' enclosure, as he led-up the winner and briefly stated “that was grand. He did it well and he gave him a good ride.
The new Winter Series at Dundalk started on Wednesday, when Crosse steered a double and he now leads the Championship with four winners. Paddy Power bookmaker have now cut the 5lbs claiming apprentice to even-money favourite to win the title, from 2/1 yesterday.
