Trainer Gavin Cromwell completed an across-the-card treble at Cork today as his top weight Ejayteekay landed the Fermoy GAA Goes Racing Handicap Hurdle under Robbie Colgan.
Cromwell had earlier recorded a double in the afternoon meeting at Downpatrick with Political Policy and Aasleagh Dawn and added further to his haul with Ejayteejay.
Jockey Colgan has reinvented himself with a switch to flat racing in recent times, with a bottom weight of just 8st13lbs, and today steered top weight Ejayteejay to her sixth career success, with a stuffed lead-cloth and 11st9lbs.
Absent trainer Cromwell was at Newmarket Horses-In-Training Sale.
