Croisultan wins Belgrave Stakes
This season's leading apprentice jockey Ben Curtis registered his biggest career win at Fairyhouse today when steering Liam McAteer's Croisultan to win the Listed Belgrave Stakes.
The son of Refuse To Bend chased the leaders before eventually getting his head in front inside the final furlong, for a three parts of a length win over Rock Jock
Afterwards a delighted McAteer relayed "that's great to win a Listed race with Croisultan and hopefully there will be a Group 3 race for him soon - we can now travel with him, to Germany or France or wherever!"
He added "Ben (Curtis) gave him an excellent ride and he is the best there is - he has the makings of a high class jockey."
