"Her run in Leopardstown was good but she was probably a little bit weak," commented Jessica Harrington after her Cristale proved best at odds of 25/1 in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden at Dundalk.
On outing number three the Dandy Man filly, with Colm O'Donoghue up in the familiar David Reid Scott colours, got the better of Man Power by a neck, after making most.
"She's just had that little bit of time and she's strengthened up terrifically. Colm couldn't believe how much stronger she'd got. He rode her in all three races," elaborated Mrs Harrington, who also saddled the third home, Bonnie Baugh
"I'm delighted to get another two-year-old winner as it's very important at this time of year.
"I'm not sure if there is anything else for her and I'd say we'll probably rest on our laurels now."
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Shalailah trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
