Thecraicisninety justified strong support in the Leo McMorrow Memorial Novice Handicap Chase at Sligo.
The Padraig Roche-trained gelding was supported from 11/2 this morning and went to post the 6/4 favourite in the two-mile-one contest.
Mark Walsh bounced out in front on JP McManus' charge and he powered away from his field turning for home.
The Presenting gelding eased home in the closing stages for a comprehensive eight-length success. Fintara proved best of the rest when getting up for second close home.
Roche said:- “He loves jumping fences. He was a bit disappointing at Kilbeggan but the track was a bit sharp for him and we said we’d go chasing.
“He’s a fine big horse and won a point-to-point for Enda and he had all the work done with him.
“He likes making the running and I’d say he likes a bit of nice ground too. Hopefully we’ll get something again for him soon.”
