Cracker scores again at Limerick
Mr Cracker s love affair with Limerick continued as he stormed to success in the feature event at the course this afternoon.
Michael Hourigan 's front-running charge led his rivals a merry dance in the Grade 2 Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase.
Adrian Heskin soon had his mount in a clear lead and the pair had their rivals struggling on the turn for home.
The Anshan gelding galloped on strongly and despite a slight mistake at the final fence never looked in danger as he recorded a four-length success over Western Charmer
It was a fourth success at the track this season for the Gigginstown House Stud-owned gelding.
"Adrian gave him a great ride. He runs and jumps great for him," said Hourigan.
"He'll more than likely go for the Power Gold Cup at Fairyhouse next. He's entered at Aintree but won't go there.
"Adrian said he actually jumps better on worse ground."
