Cowboy shoots to success
Navan based Pat Martin saddled his eighth winner of the season when his Hold Em Cowboy ran out the narrow winner of the Easter Festival At Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse today.
Ridden by Andrew Thornton (the Irish one!), the son of Moscow Society needed all of the Thortnon's strength to hold the challenge of Dizzy Rascal by a neck.
Martin later mentioned “Hold Em Cowboy is owned by the Office Boys Syndicate, who are in the stationary business, and carries a mix of their counties' colours; Cork, Wexford and Dublin. We rode Hold Em Cowboy too close to the pace the last day and held him up today.”
