Flamingo's Court made all to continue a hot streak for trainer Andrew McNamara in the opener at Wexford.
McNamara was recording his third winner of the week when the 3/1 favourite landed the mares maiden hurdle over two-and-a-half miles.
Bryan Cooper asked his mount for an effort jumping the second last as Mag Brady tried to get on terms and, despite running around a touch on the run-in, she stuck on well to record a length-and-a-quarter win.
The winner was well-beaten on her return to action in a bumper at Gowran in February but had been placed twice in maiden hurdles last Autumn.
Bryan Cooper said:- "Andy told me she stays well, she can be a bit keen, but at the back of it she probably wanted the trip.
“She is tough, and I knew as long as I didn't miss the last that I was always going to be the winner."
The winning trainer was in Cork and added:-"She is a lovely big filly and Bryan gave her a nice ride to get her to settle in front. She'll stay hurdling for the time being but I'd imagine she'll make a better chaser.
"We bought her from the late Peter Casey last year and he recommended her to us so it was nice for his family she won today.
"Her owner Dr Andrew Heffernan wanted to go for this race as it is sponsored by his son Michael and she also picked up a E5,000 bonus for winning today.
"It's been a fantastic week and I've another one to run later today and another tomorrow."
Michael Heffernan of Coast Hotels sponsored the race and the winner is owned by his father Andrew.
