Cork winner Rua to sell tomorrow
Tim Doyle’s Cnoc Rua has a date at the Sales tomorrow (as flagged earlier on the ‘Bloodstock’ section of www.irishracing.com) following his easy win in the opening Killetra Maiden Hurdle at Cork today.
Ridden by Mike Darcy, the son of Redback made all for a five and a half lengths win over Delphi Mountain but did have to survive a final flight blunder in the process.
Afterwards Doyle stated “Cnoc Rua got ‘no run’ at Ballinrobe the last day and I needed him to run again before selling him – he is a dual Flat winner and his rating has fallen to 62 now, which he should win off.”
Cnoc Rua will next be seen at Doncaster’s Horses In Training Sale tomorrow (August 3) where the gelding is likely to attract plenty of interest.
