Sean O'Brien's Impulsive Star in the colours of the trainer's wife Caroline O'Brien, gave his sale value a boost when maintained his unbeaten two race record in the Pegus Horse Feed Point-To-Point Bumper at Cork today.
A winner of his only point to point at Ballyarthur a fortnight ago, the son of Busy Flight responded well under Ciaran Fennessy in the straight today, scoring a two lengths win over Nicole's Milan
The 5/4 favourite had been backed from 4/1 earlier this morning and after the win, trainer O'Brien stated; "he's tough but I wanted a gallop and in the end they went no gallop but he still found plenty.
"The softer the better for him and the reason he hadn't run until now was he is 17 hands and took a long time to come to hand.
"He's not a bumper horse but will make a lovely staying chaser and his future is over jumps.
"I'd no offer after he won his point-to-point but some fellas might ring tonight - if they do, I'd be very accommodating!"
