Corbett suffers leg fracture

Patrick (Eamonn) Corbett faces a lengthy layoff after suffering a fractured leg from a fall at the first hurdle from Snaidhm in Cork's second race today.
Dr Adrian McGoldrick, Turf Club Senior Medical officer, reported by phone that "Eamonn has a fractured femur which will require surgery. He has been taken to Cork University Hospital and can be expected to be out of action for four months".
