Whatsnotoknow gained reward for his consistency when taking the Thurles.ie Maiden Hurdle for Mouse Morris and Rachael Blackmore.
The Mahler gelding, a 3/1 chance earlier in the day and further backed on track from 13/8 into 5/4 favouritism, had filled the runner-up spot on three of his previous four starts including over this course and distance last month.
The five-year-old was prominent throughout and after leading approaching the straight, took control from before the last to beat The Broghie Man by three and a quarter lengths.
The pair stretched right away with Haggard Lad all of 15 lengths adrift in third.
Morris said, "He had a cracking run in the Landrover Bumper at Punchestown and he hadn't run a bad race. He'll make a nice chaser."
