A beaten favourite three times in a row in course and distance maidens, Rockview Consort got her turn in the older horses' maiden under Siobhan Rutledge.
Again sent off market leader at odds of 3/1, the consistent daughter of Camelot was never far off the pace, led two furlongs out and kept pulling out enough to fend off persistent challenger Banned by three-parts of a length.
Winning trainer John McConnell, completing an across-the-cards double after the facile success of juvenile hurdler Jackpot De Choiseul at Ayr, said: "She has been knocking on the door and deserves it. She has probably been called a few names but I think she is genuine enough.
"She probably wants further, she is probably a mile and a half filly but we said we would have another crack at this trip. It is great to get the win and she will go on turf as well. She will also jump, she has schooled very well.
"Siobhan gave her a very straightforward ride. We knew she was going to stay well. I said to her 'don't wait, kick, kick, kick early and get them all stretched'."
Regarding Ayr winner Jackpot De Choisel, he added: "He's still a raw, green type but is a horse with a lot of ability.
"He'll have another run in the next few weeks and might be a Fred Winter horse (20s from 33/1 with Paddy Power). There's also the Triumph, so we will see."
