Consecutive wins for Must Be Obeyed

Must Be Obeyed (9/2) registered consecutive wins today as the Tom Gibney-trained mare followed up a New Year's Eve success in Fairyhouse's Irish Stallion Farms EBF Rated Novice Chase.
The daughter of Mustameet got off the mark on her second start over fences at Punchestown in late-December and today, again under Darragh O'Keeffe, scored by 13 lengths from Wellington Hill
Gibney, who trained Lion Na Bearnai to win the Irish Grand National at the racecourse in 2012, said “she was brilliant. I've said from day one that the hardest part is just getting her out there as she's very temperamental. She has her own way of doing things, we work around her and it works.
“That race was made for her, I wouldn't normally be keen on running them back too quick, especially a novice three-miler chaser, but she seemed well and the conditions of today's race were very suitable. Those rated novice chases are just brilliant.
“We'll try and look for something similar, depending on what the handicapper does.”
