Macs Charm registered consecutive monthly wins today, landing Gowran's Tote Jackpot Is Back Handicap Hurdle for trainer Colm Murphy and jockey Brian Hayes.
The son of Le Fou won on handicap debut at Navan in January and today, rated 8lbs higher, scored comfortably by six and a half lengths from Ernie McCracken
Trainer Murphy wasn't present and afterwards jockey Hayes said “he handled conditions which was a big plus out there today. You either handle it or you don’t.
“He won in Navan a few weeks ago and has improved since. He’s a typical Colm Murphy horse — tough and keeps improving.”
