Conor shows he's the top 3-y-o in Ireland

Our Conor confirmed his positioning at the top of the Irish juvenile hurdling tree when justifying odds-on favouritism in the opening Grade 3 Bar One Racing Juvenile 3-y-o Hurdle at Fairyhouse.
Dessie Hughes' son of Jeremy, owned by the Man About Town Syndicate, crossed all his hurdles with aplomb.
From before the last he was called on for an effort by Bryan Cooper to fend off the second market choice, Stocktons Wing He achieved this from the back of the last to score by two and a half lengths.
Hughes said: "He's a good leaper and he has a turn of foot. He has everything you need. He ran on better ground on the flat and he'd probably prefer that.
"You'd have to say he is (a Triumph Hurdle contender), hopefully anyway if he progresses and stays right.
"He's proven now he's decent and he won well enough. Bryan thought going to the last that he'd like something in front of him as he looked at it a bit.
"He might go to Leopardstown at Christmas, we've got a month and there's no reason he shouldn't. From the first day he saw a hurdle he was a natural and he just likes it."
Meanwhile Cooper explained: "He's very quick and natural. He's got a good technique of doing it.
"He looks to be going the right way. He'll have to improve another bit but he's going in the right direction."
Our Conor has been cut to 14/1 (from 20/1) for the Triumph Hurdle with Stan James.
Boylesports go 14s from 25s for the Triumph.
Paddy Powers go 16/1 from 20/1 Our Conor for the Triumph. (GC & EM)
