A trip to Newmarket in September is the dream with Sadler's Mark after the improving gelding landed back-to-back successes in the mile handicap at Naas.
Colin Keane delivered the 9/4 shot to lead a furlong out in the apprentice contest and he was always in control from there.
The Sadler's Wells gelding posted a comfortable three-length win over King Of Dudes.
The winner was following up on a victory at Galway last Thursday and connections are hoping he could make up into a Cambridgeshire contender.
"He's a big horse but is a bit soft. He came out of the race in Galway well," said owner David Eiffe afterwards.
"He doesn't do a tap in front and the way the race panned out probably wasn't ideal.
"We'll see what the handicapper does. A mile on a stiff track is ideal for him.
"He might creep into the bottom of the English Cambridgeshire over nine furlongs. It might be tilting at windmills but that's the long term plan.
"Longer term he looks tailor made for hurdling. He jumps well and could be a fairly high class horse over hurdles."
McLoughlin praised winning jockey Colin Keane:-
"He's the most experienced lad in the race and is a good rider. The horse is in savage form which is a big help."
