The John Kiely trained Conduct Yourself caused a 25/1 surprise when winning the Grade B Easter Handicap Hurdle at Cork today, improving on a recent pulled up effort at Wexford, winning today under regular rider Brian Hayes.
The daughter of King’s Theatre was today gaining her fourth win and afterwards Kiely stated “she couldn’t walk on the ground at Wexford (when pulled up) but I’m delighted to get a pot like this today.
“There was a point when I thought she was useless but she has improved since and the valuable handicap hurdle on the Saturday of the Punchestown Festival could be a possibility next.”
