Miss Amulet (5/2) put her experience to good use when racing to a five length victory in the opening Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Maiden.
Settled just a little off the pace set by 15/8 favourite Blueberry Faygo (finished fourth in the end), Chris Hayes brought his mount through to lead over a furlong from home, and from that point she went away for a decisive success with Zoom Call doing best of the newcomers in second.
The winning daughter of Sir Prancealot cost £7,500 as a yearling and landed a prize of over 14K Euros here.
Seventh on debut in a good maiden at Naas, she was then fourth over an extended five furlongs at Navan.
Winning trainer Ken Condon (third 2-y-o winner of the season) said: "Her first race has thrown up plenty of winners and at Navan (subsequently) she may have got involved a bit early and she was vulnerable to closers.
"She had taken that very well though and didn't hold a grudge against us and Chris (Hayes) said she was very professional and he thought she could go on and have a nice future and that six furlongs would be fine.
"Getting black-type along the way would be nice and she is very straightforward and uncomplicated.
"I'm pleased for Colm Griffin, from Meath, who is a new owner to the yard and that's a lovely start.
"She was well bought by Mick Donohoe and she has the size as well so she has a future."
