Cole battles well for Foley
Captain Cole gained a deserved win with a hard fought victory in the apprentice race at Dundalk.
Shane Foley hit the front early on the straight on the Peter Casey-trained gelding.
He was strongly pressed by Street Legal from over a furlong out, however, eventually getting the better of that rival by half a length close home.
"I think there is another race for him here next week," said Casey.
"I don't think we'll keep going with him over the winter over hurdles as he wants goodish ground."
