Cole Porter made virtually all to justify his position as the odds-on favourite in the concluding Bulmers Live At Leopardstown Festival Maiden.
The well-backed 4/6 chance was driven out by Ryan Moore in the closing stages to beat Radar O’Reilly by half-a-length in this mile and a half event. Raconteur completed the places a further two and a quarter lengths away in third.
On a busy afternoon for the stalls handlers, Prince Charmin’ (33/1) was withdrawn after failing to load.
Winning trainer Aidan O’Brien said, “Ryan said he stays well and we always thought he would like a bit of nice ground.”
