Adrian Keatley trained his second winner at Galway 2016 after Millefiori's victory on Wednesday when Mountain Rock and Jamie Codd took the concluding Fr. Breen Memorial (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race as racing at Ballybrit's festival concluded.
Odds-on favourite First Figaro was asked for more by Finny Maguire in the final half mile, and he looked a likely scorer when striking on from over two furlongs out.
However he couldn't cope with Mountain Rock's surge in the final furlong and three parts of a length split them at the line.
"That's my first winner at the Galway Festival after about 15 or 16 years trying. It's a real monkey off my back," revealed Codd.
"This horse is not too bad and really battled all the way to the line."
