Cochlear Five-Up at Dundalk
Cochlear gained his fifth victory at Dundalk when defying top-weight in the Roddy Business Systems Ltd. Handicap under Wayne Lordan, getting on top close home to beat Toufan Express by a neck.
Despite Lordan losing his whip fifty yards out, the Danetime gelding, now a five-year-old, wasn't to be denied. All of his wins have come on this all-weather surface, the first of which was achieved off a mark of 60 in March 2008 and today's success came off a 91 rating. (EM)
