Clonbur lands gamble in bumper
Clonbur landed a monster gamble in the concluding bumper for trainer Tommy McGivern.
Backed from as big as 20/1 in the morning the son of Presenting was sent off 3/1 favourite.
Jason McKeown held his mount up towards the rear before taking closer order in the straight.
He hit the front over a furlong out and soon had matters in hand, recording an impressive five-length success from Hills Of Claragh
"He's a very nice horse and was bet like he was!" said McGivern.
"He's a real nice horse and finished head and head with Rite Of Passage in a Fairyhouse schooling bumper.
"We might go for the winners bumper either at Aintree of Punchestown."
