Clonbannon takes Limerick bumper
The concluding GGL Securities 24/7 Alarm & Cctv Monitoring Bumper at Limerick today went, quite impressively, to the trainer/jockey combination of Mikey O’Connor’s Clonbannon Lad.
The son of Rudimentary made all and quickened well in the straight to defeat Kilcrea by an easy five lengths.
Afterwards O’Connor said “he’s a fair sort and while I was leaning towards winning another point to point, his owners Eddie Walsh and Colin Keogh were more keen to go for a bumper. He may go for a winners bumper now.”
