Clinton Hill runner-up on debut at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day, went one better for the father and son team of Willie and Patrick Mullins when justifying favouritism in the bumper at Thurles.
The Flemensfirth gelding, sent off a well-backed 11/8 chance, travelled strongly to lead over a furlong out under a confident Patrick Mullins.
He was driven out inside the final furlong to beat the front-running All For Joy by three lengths as the pair went clear in the straight. Nearly Man could find no extra from well over a furlong out to finish a further 16 lengths back in third.
Willie Mullins said, "He improved nicely from the last day and he gallops and stays. We'll look for a winners' bumper next month."
