Cleary Recovery continues
Rory Cleary partnered his second career winner for trainer Jim Bolger when steering Global Recovery to win the CROSS Charity Handicap at Leopardstown this evening.
Cleary, who has been out of fashion with trainers in recent years having regularly previously partnered 30 winners a season, was partnering his third winner of 2011 and has already equalled his total for the 2010 season.
Afterwards Bolger stated “Global Recovery may go to the July Sales now. I originally wanted to buy his dam and she was in foal to him when I bought her. I’m glad we got one win attempt out of him at the last attempt as he was crying out for a trip.”
