Classics on her way
Lahinch Classics (Wayne Lordan) going on from Photo Call

They both had promising first starts to their respective names, one 17 days ago, the other 221 days back. If anyone was in any doubt about which way to go in advance of the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden at Dundalk, the market clarified things as winner Lahinch Classics was hammered into favouritism and duly obliged.
In fairness she got no resistance from chief rival in the betting, Ballydoyle's Ruby Tuesday who ended up finishing last having been eased when beaten by Joseph O'Brien.
Mrs Stockwell's winner meanwhile, was never far away under Wayne Lordan and saw it out well enough inside the last to account for her fellow David Wachman runner, the promising Photo Call by a length.
"She's a nice filly but Wayne thought she was very idle when she got there.
"She should learn a good bit from it. He was happy with her.
"She'll run in a stakes or a Group race next over a mile and a quarter or a mile and a half," said Wachman afterwards.
J.P. O'Brien, rider of Ruby Tuesday, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well before stopping quickly in the straight.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Ruby Tuesday, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be making a respiratory noise post race.
