Cirin Toinne made all to take the feature at Tipperary this evening, the Follow @TipperaryRaces on Twitter Rated Race.
Successful on debut at Leopardstown in July of last year, the daughter of Galileo failed to win again in nine starts since, but did run some nice races in defeat, and was second in the Ulster Oaks at Down Royal on Saturday.
Turned out again quickly she was sent off a 5/2 chance this evening under Kevin Manning for Jim Bolger.
Sent straight to the front, the daughter of Galileo made all and was ridden to assert under two furlongs out, keeping on well from there to score by a length.
The 2/1 favourite Onlyhuman was second under Billy Lee for Eddie Lynam..
The Gowran maiden winner hung right under pressure from over a furlong out, and lost valuable ground in the process.
Once straightened up he stayed on well, but couldn't reel in the winner and had to settle for the runner-up spot. Massayan who was as short as 10/11 in early shows, drifted out to 5/2 on-course, and he finished a disappointing last for Pat Smullen and Dermot Weld.
Ger Flynn, Bolger's travelling head lad, said afterwards: "She probably got an easy lead but picked up well and put the race to bed about one and a half (furlongs) down.
"That's two good runs back to back now and she was a shade unlucky at Down Royal the last day and had been mixing in good company previously.
"We like her a lot and is a nice Galileo mare and the boss will look for more black-type now."
