Cinnin Oir scores for Geoghegan
Cinnin Oir supplied Dublin trainer John Geoghegan with his third winner of the season when taking the Elizabeth Kenneally Memorial Handicap in the hands of Colm O’Donoghue.
O’Donoghue had 14/1 shot in rear and made his progress to join leaders two furlongs from home.
The Fruits Of Love filly kept on well under a strong drive to take up the lead inside the final furlong to record a two length win over Dinah Doll
“I was a little worried early in the race as I didn’t think he was going to settle” said a relieved Geoghegan.
“She quickened up well and stayed at it. We’ll see what the handicapper does now we’ll probably have to step her up now.”
