Childrens could go on summer run

A half-brother to a dual Grade 1 winner in Schindlers Hunt, and a point-to-point winner at one of the top venues himself, Belharbour, for the Connors-family and Pat Doyle, Childrens List had much to recommend when joining the Willie Mullins yard. He began on what could be a fruitful road when winning the finale, the Sponsor A Race At Tramore Racecourse In 2015 (C & G) (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
Patrick Mullins made all in the Ricci silks, on the 11/4 shot, a disappointment at Fairyhouse in November, and he was pressed a furlong and a half out by the well-backed favourite, Henry De Bromhead's Ordinary World
However the victorious Presenting gelding wasn't long about warding off that danger and with Ordinary World hanging to his left in the final furlong the Mullins runner went on to score by three and three parts of a length.
"He is just a real good ground horse. He didn't handle the track at all," revealed the winning rider, who had the injured Robbie McNamara in his thoughts in the aftermath.
"He was on the wrong leg around a lot of the bends but he just wants that good ground to be seen at his best.
"I'd say he might keep going during the summer. For the class of horse he is I think he could win a lot of races during the summer." (DM & EM)
