Pat Fahy is targeting the Ultima Business Solutions Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival with Crabbie's Grand National hopeful Morning Assembly
The nine-year-old has finished second in each of his two outings this term after a prolonged spell on the sidelines through injury.
Morning Assembly was allotted 10st 9lb in the initial weights for the National last week and Fahy believes a trip to Cheltenham will provide an ideal prep run.
He said: "I'm thrilled with the weight he was given (for the Grand National). He has a lovely weight.
"He's not a plodder and could next run in the three-mile-one-furlong handicap chase at Cheltenham. He'll then be freshened up and have a shot at it (Grand National)."
