Charlie Does it in Style
Run For Charlie has been a consistent sort and it all came together for the son of Quws on his ninth outing when he easily justified favouritism in the Killenaule Maiden Hurdle. He won by eight lengths under Alain Cawley.
James Nolan, brother of winning trainer, Paul, said: "He deserved that and he was unlucky not to win his bumper. He liked the ground, though no horse would like it that fast. We'll find a handicap for him. Pat O'Loughlin's wife, Susan was here to see him for the first time so maybe she brought him a bit of luck."
